Jasprit Bumrah became only the third Indian bowler to take a Test hat-trick while his figures of six for 16 left the West Indies in tatters and facing a mountain to climb at Sabina Park.
The Windies lurched to 22 for five in response to India's 416 all out on day two of the second Test, Bumrah taking all the wickets, including the scalps of Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase from successive deliveries.
After making the breakthrough when John Campbell was caught behind, Bravo nicked to first slip while hooping inswingers led to lbw verdicts against both Brooks and Chase, who was initially given not out, a decision overturned on review.
